Workshop: Kufic Calligraphy (Intermediate) invites learners to deepen their understanding of the historic Kufic script. Originally developed in Kufa, Iraq, Kufic is recognized for its geometric structure, vertical strokes, and striking visual presence. Under the expert instruction of Hussein Ammar Ahmed, students will expand on their basic knowledge to construct full phrases and compositions. This four-session course builds on foundational skills learned in the Ruq’ah beginner program, emphasizing precision, rhythm, and form. Perfect for students ready to advance in their calligraphy journey and explore the artistic roots of Islamic script traditions.
